Making Tracks For Technology

Making Tracks For Technology is a Walk-A-Thon that will be held during school hours on Friday, June 14th, with a rain date of Monday, June 17th. Our goal is to help raise money to support the technology program and its purchase of items such as iPads, Ballistic cases for the iPads, and Samsung Chromebooks. We hope that your child came home very excited about this great event. It is our first year for this event, and we hope that it is a tremendous success, to help us update our technology throughout the school. Making Tracks For Technology will also provide a great opportunity for the children to exercise, have fun with their friends, and win prizes.

The event will be held on the path leading to Jordan Pond and all children and teachers are welcome to participate in the Walk-a-Thon. Each grade will walk for approximately 45 minutes. This event is on the same day as Field Day, and will fit in nicely with the field day activities.

We will need parent volunteers in addition to the staff to monitor the children to ensure the safety of all participants, provide cool drinks, and provide encouragement. Any parents interested in participating in this easy and fun activity should complete the volunteer sign-up form sent out in last Monday’s folders or email
