What better way to celebrate your graduate’s years at Coolidge than to donate a book to the Coolidge Media Center in his/her honor? Since the Donate a Book form can be found on the Coolidge web site, donations make a great gift idea for out of town family members too!
Use this form to donate a book to the Coolidge Media Center through the Donate a Book Program. Please fill out the form completely so that the book you donate is dedicated as you wish. The cost of each book donation is $15.00; this ensures that a library-bound, hard cover book will be able to go directly into circulation. Once your child selects a book, a color label with his/her name and an inscription will be fixed inside the cover. The book will be a lasting tribute to your child’s time at Coolidge.
Here is the link to the Donate a Book form.
Great children’s books are published every year but, due to limited finances, the Coolidge Media Center is not able to purchase many of them. Your donation will allow us to make these current titles available and help replace books in poor condition.
We hope you choose to participate in this wonderful program. If you have any questions please contact mfox [at] shrewsbury.k12.ma.us.
Celebrate the end of the school year with your Coolidge friends and the Bravehearts!
Come join other Coolidge families and friends to catch the Worcester Braveheart’s baseball game on Friday 6/23 at Hanover Insurance Park’s Fitton Field in Worcester. The game starts at 7:05 and will be followed by fireworks. Tickets are $8 each payable via cash or check to the Coolidge PTO and everyone receives a free Bravehearts hat. Look for flyers coming home in your child’s backpack. Please return your payment to the attention of Coolidge PTO/Amanda Tanaka no later than Friday 6/12. We look forward to seeing you there!
Making Tracks for Technology is a Walk-A-Thon held during school hours on Friday, June 9th (rain date June 15th) to raise money for purchasing technology for our school. Each grade will walk for approximately 30 minutes on the path leading to Jordan Pond. An information packet and pledge sheet went home in students’ backpacks. We ask that your child ask friends, family and neighbors to sponsor them for this event. There are many fantastic prizes that have been donated by local businesses to award those students who raise the most for Coolidge. We encourage all students to begin asking for donations now.
Check out the Coolidge Tracks for Technology Commercial!
If you are available to help out on this fun filled day please complete and return this form.
